Pictures of Works In Progress

I started work last night on Sir Theo, and I wanted to take pictures of my work to document the process, but I couldn’t get my digital camera to focus on the mini in the 2-3 minutes I spent fooling around with it. It was a lot harder than I thought, and I assumed I would end up having to fiddle with all the manual exposure and shutter speed settings that no one ever uses in day to day people-picture taking.

I found a decent guide here. I’ll try to see if I can do what he suggests tonight to capture my painting work so far. Basically I have the mini cleaned, primed, and the base coat applied so far. It looks a lot better already than I thought it would, so that’s nice. I think I have much better brushes than I used 8 years ago, and that certainly helps.
